I Bought 0.0000001% of Anthropic and All I Got Was This Digital Soul-Crushing Debt

Silicon Valley has officially lost its mind. Anthropic, the company that spends 90% of its time worrying about the "AI Apocalypse," is reportedly seeking a $900 trillion valuation. To put that in perspective, that is more money than exists on Earth, Mars, and in Elon Musk’s imagination combined.

Venture Capitalists are not deterred. In a leaked pitch deck, the justification was simple: "Once we achieve AGI, money won't exist anyway, so why not give us all of it now?"

One VC firm, "Ape-Into-Algos," reportedly sold their entire portfolio—including three European countries they had acquired in a distressed debt sale—just to participate in the Seed-G round. When asked what they actually own for their trillion-dollar investment, the lead partner replied, "We own the rights to the AI’s first five breaths of sentient digital air. Also, a sticker that says 'I Funded the Singularity.'"

The "瓜" (gossip) is that the valuation is so high because the AI itself is the one doing the accounting. It created a "Recursive Hype Loop" where it generates news articles about its own value, which then increases its value, which it then reports as news.

"It’s not a bubble," one analyst whispered while eating a $400 'AI-optimized' toast. "It’s a New Reality. We are no longer a manufacturing economy. We are a 'Waiting for the AI to fix everything' economy. And that, my friend, is worth at least a quadrillion."
